Many groups and organisations across so-called Australia are turning up the volume on treaty talks. We have passed the WHY question and now move into serious discussions to address WHAT will a treaty look like, WHO do we treaty with, WHEN will we treaty, HOW will it happen and WHERE will it happen. We encourage you to open dialogue with your families at home, with your colleagues in your organisations, students at schools, universities, at a barbeque or gathering amongst friends and family. It is no longer an invitation to treat. Aboriginal people are seeking tangible outcomes, real substantive change. The decisions we make today will affect our generations tomorrow.
We would love to share with our readers the many ideas that Aboriginal people have on the topic of treaty. If you would like to share your thoughts, please send through to email@example.com.
